In the course of the renovation works on the sewage plants in Schweiggers, Sallingsstadt and Limbach the renewal of the measurement and control technology was carried out. By renewing the system technology, the system stability of the sewage-works was increased enormously.
When refurbishing the company building (office and manufacturing plant, "MSG" has decided to go for renewable energy in connection with a central control system including a building control.
An air heat pump of the company Frigopol was set up for the heating and air conditioning of the building. In order to create an energy-saving mode of the building automation, a homogenous concept for the heating, air-conditioning and ventilation of the company building was installed.
The main part of the assignment was to renew the old PLC including it's visualisation for the sewage treatment plant in Gleinstätten. After setting up detailed specifications with our customer, we were able to come up with a concept to adapt the controlling system within a short period of time. By setting up a temporary arrangement, the plant was able to operate at all times without any disruption.
In cooperation with the public utilities of the city of Köflach, it is a pleasure to carry out the assignment for RHV Köflach-Maria Lankowitz - Edelschrott. The electronic equipment will be delivered at several different stages in time in order to keep the plant running without any disruption and temporary arrangement.
The company "Mondi Frantschach" put their trust into Frigopol and hired us for the automation of the Clupak tissue grinding machine PM6. The assignment included the mechanical and electrical construction, manufacturing, programming, installation as well as the set-up.
The goal of the automation and renewal of the Clupak tissue grinding machine PM6 was to grind the tissue during the ongoing production operation by fitting a new automated tissue grinding machine into the system.
The system maintenance was reduced to a minimum, i.e. basic functions such as the cleaning of the tracks, skids, etc. are maintenance-free for the operator.
This project deals with a considerable change of the electronic equipment of the machine. The mechanical construction stays unchanged. The automated operating procedure is controlled by a PLC. Using a touch panel, the operator is able to observe and evaluate all data at an appropriate operating comfort.
At the end of last autumn we started to rebuild the wastewater treatment plant of Semriach. Our job assignment included the entire measurement and control technology, the automatic electricity supply of the plant in case of a blackout as well as the integration of a newly constructed discharge pump station.
Energy saving through innovative heating concepts
Obsolete heating systems in office buildings and manufacturing plants are increasingly replaced by energy-efficient heating and cooling systems in connection with renewable energy.
Especially in bigger facilities it is very important to have a central building control linked up with energy monitoring in order to control the system. The soccer club SK Puntigamer Sturm Graz has created the best conditions for a lasting energy industry in their training centre.
The renewal of the PLC and the process control system of the sewage treatment plant Zwaring-Pöls was carried out without any problems within a short time. The 24/7 plant operation was kept upright by setting up a temporary provisional control unit.
We are pleased to have gained another new customer, the water association Stainz (Wasserverband Stainz), from our region. Frigopol Umweltanlagen was commissioned for the expansion of the measurement and control technology as well as for the integration of the newly established external stations into the existing central process control system.
A photovoltaic system (island operation), which works independently from the network, supplies the electricity. The data buffering is carried out by a programmable logc controller (PLC). The data transmission to and from the central control station is carried out via the GSM net. In order to be prepared for any future requirements, a data connection via GPRS provides the possibility to transfer data also online.
As the water pipe system of the township Stainz has come long into years, it was decided to completely renew the towns water supply system. The main criterion was to adapt the system to a modern, up-to-date, user-friendly water supply network.
The project had to fulfill two major requirements: at the one hand, it was important to guarantee the supply of water at all times and to secure a reliable water network. At the other hand, it was also important to erect an efficient water system, which would direct the water in the most productive and high- performance way. With regards to the measuring and control technology, Frigopol was trusted with a powerful concept.
