1945 Foundation of R. Culk - Metallwarenfabrik in Graz by Mr. Raimund Culk

1950 Mr. Culk starts to produce absorber refrigerators and ice-cream machines.

1951 / 1952 Development of hermetic separating-hood compressors which are used for ice-cream machines.

1953 Start of the production of hermetic separating-hood compressors for private use.

1954 The production of absorber refrigerators has been stopped. The standard manufacturing of separating-hood compressors for refrigerators starts. Furthermore the separating-hood compressor is produced for the specialized trade.

1959 Due to the steadily increasing production of compressors the manufacturing of the ice-cream machines has been stopped. Sale of the refrigerator production to the company ELIN. Specialization of the entire production on manufacturing refrigerating compressors for the industrial sector.

1981 Construction of a second factory in Hart nearby Graz for distribution and assembly

1993 Removal to the new production location in Graz, Strassgangerstraße - both production locations are again consolidated.

2000 Start-up of the company FRIGOPOL RHL - Kälteanlagen GmbH; Manager: Ing. Hans Rinner and Ing. Johann Herunter

2001 Construction of a new premises covering 4500 m² production area and 800 m² office area by Ing. Hans Rinner and Ing. Johann Herunter. Removal of the company FRIGOPOL - Kälteanlagen GmbH to Frauental/Western Styria (Austria).

2002 establishment of the daughter - company Frigopol Southern Africa in Capetown; Managing director Kevin Schlemmer
